Hey, there! If you are reading this you have stopped by my crazy corner of blogland and are probably wondering about the person behind the blog. My name is Colby, and I married the man of my dreams in July of 2012. We are currently a military family stationed at Fort Lewis. Born and raised about an hour and half from our new home in Tacoma, we love the pacific northwest. After a short stint in the peach state, we thankfully were permanently stationed back home. Not to take anything away from Georgia, I LOVE me some peaches, but our hearts belong to/in the state of Washington.

 

Yup that's us, in the rain! Insert cheesy romantic sigh here. What else is 

Washington known for?! You either love it or hate it. True Washingtonians make the 

most of it, without an umbrella, but ya gotta have the prop! AMIRIGHT?

So more about me and less about where I live. I am a lover of fashion, wine guzzling, healthier eating attempting, shoe hoarding, family enjoying, gym frequenting kind of woman. You buy me a bottle of cab and we can be besties. My husband is a buff stud muffin and therefore I tag along to the gym with him (and to combat all that wine guzzling previously mentioned). Shoes are the bees knees in my opinion. I am usually sporting a legit pair of wedges as they combine both comfort and style. I am after all a practical woman! I tend to favor Instagram over all other social media outlets so if you want a quick snapshot of my day to day life stalk me over at "Lifeasadixon" because lezzbihonest Instagram made stalking A-Ok.

Why blogging you ask? Well by day I am an accounts payable and contract specialist. If that doesn't scream borrrrrrrrring, I don't know what does! In all reality I love my work. BUT I needed a creative outlet. Somewhere to escape from invoices and liens, and dish on fashion and OOTDs. Besides, where else can I share all of the items I am drooling over on the Forever 21 website?! Not that I am a fashionista or trendsetter by any means. This blog is just me wearing what I like and documenting it along the way.

 Most days will center around what I wore (because I am sure you are dying to know) and what I am coveting, but this will most likely be categorized as a lifestyle blog. So here is a disclaimer, there may or may not be posts about my hottie of a husband and our date nights or places I would like to travel or recipes I have to share. If any of the above mentioned topics interest you pull up a chair and a fishbowl size glass of red wine and stay awhile!
