Military Touches

Did anyone else feel like the weekend flew by? Even with the extra day, the work week came around waaay too fast.

My mother-in-law bought these heels for my birthday and I was shocked! Shoes are the way to my heart and she nailed it with this pair. I love the military trend as olive is a favorite color of mine. I went somewhat casual by throwing on my white jeans and adding a front tuck. Linking up with Because of Jackie and the "What She Wears" bunch.

Labor day was spent checking out Tacoma Boys which is our local market that features locally grown produce and beer and wine from the area as well. Think Whole Foods or Traders Joe's but better! We opted to try the meat on sale for the week which just so happened to be Kobe steaks. They even offered (and we allowed) to "rub" our meat *get your mind outta the gutter* with their personal blend. Paul found a pumpkin beer that is from a Seattle based brew we never knew about. The wine selection is phenomenal and I can't wait to stock up. Cadillac peaches and strawberries were also added to our purchases for the day. We both agreed our future beef and booze would be bought from the place only. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone in the Tacoma area.
